Delete a Member Preference

To keep your Loyalty instance uncluttered, the best practice recommendation is to delete unneeded or test Preferences. The deletion process is permanent and irrevocable; you can’t later restore a deleted Preference.

To delete a Member Preference:

  1. Select Program from the top navigation bar, then select Member Preferences from the side navigation menu. The Member Preferences screen is displayed.

  2. On the Member Preferences screen, search for and select the desired Member Preference (see Search for a Member Preference for more information on the available search options). The Edit Member Preference pop-up window is displayed and populated with the properties of this Preference.

  3. Click Delete. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click Confirm.

If this Preference had a status of Published, you must deploy metadata in order for the changes to take effect. For details on how to deploy metadata, please see the Deployments screen.
